The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the Counter-Narcotics Special Unit of the Badakhshan Provincial Police Command seized 242 kilograms of various narcotics during an operation in the Pul-e-Begum and Tashkan areas. The drugs, along with a vehicle, were discovered and confiscated from a residential house.
According to the statement, nine suspects have also been arrested in connection with the case and will be referred to the relevant judicial authorities following the completion of preliminary investigations.
