Al-Qaeda’s military wing, Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin, launched seven attacks against government forces and militias in Burkina Faso and Somalia.
Az-Zalaqa media reported that the attacks resulted in several deaths and injuries. It also stated that the group’s fighters seized a significant amount of military equipment during the operations.
