Credible local sources told Voice of Hindukush that unidentified gunmen carried out an attack today, Monday, on Pakistani regime commando forces in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Sources added that in the attack, three police commandos, including a senior officer, were killed and four others were wounded.
Local authorities of Pakistan’s military regime have confirmed the attack, but no group has yet claimed responsibility.
It is worth noting that in the past, the Pakistani Taliban Movement has claimed responsibility for similar attacks on Pakistani police and militia forces in Gilgit-Baltistan.
