The “Ru’a Li Dirasat-el-Harb” Arabic news outlet reported that Al-Nur Qubba, a commander who defected from Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, stated that the United Arab Emirates is directly involved in training the militias.
He admitted the UAE’s direct cooperation with the militias, saying that he himself received military training in the UAE city of Al Ain.
He further claimed that the UAE transfers drones to the militias through airports in Chad, Libya, and Somalia, trains their officers, and also takes responsibility for treating their wounded.
It is worth noting that these militias have killed and injured tens of thousands of civilians in Sudan over the past four years.
