The Ghazni Provincial Media Center has announced that construction has commenced on a fully equipped 50-bed healthcare facility in Giro District of Ghazni Province at a cost of 64 million Afghanis.
Local health officials in Ghazni have expressed hope that, upon completion, the facility will help address the healthcare needs of local residents and expand access to medical treatment and services.
The healthcare center is planned to be built on five jeribs of land according to standard specifications and will include 45 inpatient, emergency, and service rooms, a modern electricity system, and a mosque.
According to the Ghazni Provincial Administration, construction of four other similar healthcare centers across the province is also scheduled to begin during the current solar year 1405.
