The Wall Street Journal has reported that Cuba is on the brink of economic collapse due to U.S. economic sanctions, while public protests across the country continue to grow.
According to the report, the ongoing economic crisis has significantly worsened living conditions for the Cuban people, leading to rising public dissatisfaction.
The report further states that the level of civil unrest and protests has increased, while Cuba’s communist government lacks a strong ally capable of providing substantial assistance during the current crisis.
It adds that the continued economic pressure could push Cuba into even deeper economic and social difficulties.
