The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has officially confirmed the martyrdom of the commander of its military wing, Izz al-Din al-Haddad, through a published statement.

Hamas said that the commander, who was also known as “Abu Suhaib,” was martyred on Friday evening in an airstrike carried out by the Zionist regime in Gaza, alongside his wife and daughter.

According to the statement, Abu Suhaib had also lost his two “mujahid sons,” Suhaib and Mo’men, during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation.

Hamas described the assassination as a “terrorist and fascist crime” and stated that the international community and the guarantor countries of the ceasefire agreement bear political, legal, and moral responsibility regarding the incident.

The movement concluded by emphasizing that the blood of the martyred commander would strengthen the path of “resistance and liberation,” adding that jihad and resistance would continue with full force.
