Afghanistan’s Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, through its Meteorological Department, has forecast rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and flash floods in 13 provinces of the country for tomorrow (Friday).
According to a statement issued by the department, the affected provinces include Nangarhar, Nuristan, Kunar, Laghman, Badakhshan, Paktika, Khost, Paktia, Logar, Parwan, Kapisa, Panjshir, and Baghlan.
The statement said that rainfall in these provinces is expected to range between 10 and 25 millimeters.
The Meteorological Department also forecast strong winds with speeds ranging from 50 to 85 kilometers per hour across the central, western, southern, southeastern, and eastern provinces of the country.
