The Ministry of Interior Affairs says Major General Mawlawi Hizbullah Afghan, chief of staff of the ministry’s security forces, met with a number of Shia Hazara religious scholars and tribal elders to discuss security, national unity and mutual cooperation.
During the meeting, the scholars and tribal elders praised the services and efforts of the security forces, describing their role as important in maintaining security, peace and stability in the country.
Mr. Afghan assured them of continued cooperation, stressing that all Afghans are members of one family and that ensuring the country’s security, stability and development is a shared responsibility.
He added that the security forces are committed to protecting the lives and property of all citizens and will continue to serve all ethnic groups and segments of society within the framework of Islamic principles.
