Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that two weeks after the start of the war with Iran, the United States has begun begging countries around the world, including India, to purchase Russian oil in an effort to stabilize global oil prices.
According to a report by Sputnik, Araghchi added that Europe also miscalculated the situation, noting that European countries had expected their support for the war against Iran would secure stronger U.S. backing against Russia.
His remarks come as the United States has recently postponed certain sanctions previously imposed on Russian oil.
