Tasnim News Agency reported that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the Iranian people would not surrender through force and coercion, and that Iran would never surrender.
In a post on the social media platform X, Pezeshkian said that if the Americans considered themselves warriors, they should confront Iran’s brave armed forces directly. He questioned why civilian infrastructure, sources of food, and the means of people’s livelihoods are being targeted during the war.
The Iranian president also said that if there was even the slightest trace of humanity left in their actions, why were access routes to water, food, and medicine being blocked for the people. Pezeshkian stressed that the Iranian people would not surrender to force and coercion.
