The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it has summoned Pakistan’s Chargé d’Affaires in Kabul and handed over a protest note regarding attacks carried out along the Disputed Durand Line, including strikes on civilian targets and public facilities, as well as on a university in the center of Kunar.
The ministry has also strongly condemned violations of Afghanistan’s airspace and attacks against civilians by Pakistan’s military regime.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the Afghan government reserves the legitimate right to defend its territory and people, and has called on the Pakistani side to refrain from such actions.
The ministry further warned that the continuation of such irresponsible actions will have serious consequences.
