North Korean state media reported that leader Kim Jong Un has stated that the country will continue to support Russia’s policies.
He also underscored the importance of further strengthening military ties with Moscow.
Analysts, citing the close relationship between the two countries, say such cooperation is likely to extend beyond the war in Ukraine.
North Korea currently maintains broad military and political cooperation with Russia and is reported to have deployed around 3,000 soldiers to front-line positions in the Ukraine war.
