Arab media reported that Pakistan warned Tehran to consider its joint defense agreement with Saudi Arabia, noting Islamabad’s concern over escalating tensions in the region.

The defense agreement, signed in 2025, stipulates that any attack on one country will be considered an attack on both.

However, Saudi Arabia has suffered Iranian attacks in recent days, Pakistani officials said the warning aims to prevent further escalation in the region and underscores Pakistan’s efforts to ease tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, rumors have circulated over the past few days suggesting that the United States and Israel may have used Pakistani territory to launch attacks against Iran; however, Voice of Hindukush has not yet received official confirmation regarding these reports.
