Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his opposition to any possible U.S. ground operations in Iran during a telephone conversation with his American counterpart, Donald Trump.

According to reports, Putin stressed that any U.S. ground operations against Iran would be entirely unacceptable and would carry significant risks.

According to reports, the two leaders also discussed Iran’s nuclear program and the ongoing ceasefire between Tehran and Washington during a phone call that lasted around one and a half hours.
