The Ministry of Public Works reported that rail transport through the country’s four ports is running seamlessly, with all operations proceeding efficiently and without disruption.
The ministry’s spokesperson, Mohammad Ashraf Haqshenas, stated that between February 26 and March 1, 2026, a total of 127,650 metric tons of goods were transported through the railway network.
Meanwhile, Minister Mawlawi Mohammad Isa Thani directed port officials and provincial transport directors to enhance support for traders transporting essential and food supplies during these critical circumstances.
