Reliable sources told Voice of Hindukush that Qutbuddin, widely known as Badin, who previously served as the border battalion commander for the Du China area in Ormami district, Paktika, during the fallen republic, was killed last night in Zhob, Balochistan.

Following the collapse of the republic, Badin moved to Pakistan and became a member of the Resistance Front. He was attacked last night in Zhob’s Moor Margha area of Kakaristan.

While officially blamed on unidentified gunmen, credible sources suggest that the actual reason for his killing was his refusal to follow certain demands from Pakistan’s intelligence agencies.

Recent reports note that Pakistani intelligence has been manipulating members of the Resistance Front to serve its aims, targeting those who do not comply.
