Reuters has reported that a 6.7-magnitude earthquake struck northern Japan today (Friday).
Japan’s Meteorological Agency predicted that ocean waves along the coast could rise up to one meter.
This comes just days after a 7.6-magnitude earthquake had previously hit Japan.
Following that earlier quake, tens of thousands of people were warned to evacuate their homes.
