The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum says Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Qanit, Deputy Minister for Policy and Programs, met on Thursday with representatives of the Russian Agri Mir company and a number of Afghan businesspeople.
According to the ministry, the company’s head and the Afghan businesspeople called investment opportunities in Afghanistan favorable and expressed interest in investing in the country’s chromite and gypsum mines.
The deputy minister also assured the company and the Afghan investors of full cooperation in accordance with the country’s applicable laws and regulations.
