The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has announced that three working days, starting from the first day of the upcoming Hijri lunar month, will be observed as public holidays across the country on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

The ministry added that after Ramadan, the working hours for government employees will be from Saturday to Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a one-hour break from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch and prayers.

It also stated that on Thursdays, working hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to the ministry’s notice, production, service, health, educational, and higher education institutions may organize their working hours in accordance with their own regulations and operational requirements.
