International media have reported that following a rise in global oil prices, the Donald Trump administration has lifted sanctions on the sale of Iranian oil for 30 days.
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that by removing these sanctions, 140 million barrels of oil will be supplied to the global market.
According to this decision, Iranian oil loaded onto tanker ships between March 20 and April 19 is allowed to be sold in international markets.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials have said they do not have sufficient crude oil available to supply global markets.
