The Ministry of Public Works has finished repairing and reconstructing two beam bridges in Rukha District, Panjshir Province, at a total cost of 6.3 million Afghanis. Both bridges have now been reopened, improving access for local residents.

The ministry explained that seasonal floods had extensively damaged the bridges’ main structures.

The restoration work has significantly eased transportation, resolving long-standing challenges for residents of Rukha and Priyan districts.

This project is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve public facilities through a series of large and small projects across the country.
