The 313 Central Corps said forces from its Third Brigade have recovered the bodies of two young men who drowned in a water reservoir in the Mahipar area of Kabul.
According to the report, the two had travelled from Kabul to Mahipar for recreation the previous day. While taking photographs, one of them fell into the reservoir. His companion attempted to rescue him but also lost his life, and both went missing in the water.
In a statement, the 313 Central Corps said the bodies of the two missing young men were later recovered from the reservoir, transported to Kabul by military ambulance, and handed over to their families.
