In recent remarks, the U.S. Secretary of War said that the naval blockade launched by the country will expand globally, and no one will be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz without U.S. permission.
Referring to the non-participation of NATO member states in the war with Iran, he added that the United States needs allies who are capable, loyal, and understand that partnership should not be one-sided.
The U.S. Secretary of War also stated that, as a country, the United States does not make extensive use of the Strait of Hormuz; however, the European Union depends heavily on it.
