Officials from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have stated that there is still a need for increased support in child protection, humanitarian aid, health services, and nutrition in the areas affected by the earthquake.

UNICEF representative Tajudeen Oyewale wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that their teams are delivering humanitarian assistance to children, women, and men.

According to the information, he also visited several earthquake-affected areas in eastern Afghanistan yesterday.
