Ministry of Industry and Commerce says that over the past seven months, trade between Kabul and New Delhi has amounted to 525 million US dollars.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, told the media that 379 million dollars of this amount are Afghan exports, most of which consist of dried fruits.

He stated that exports include dried figs, saffron, raisins, green cumin, pistachios, and almonds, while imports mainly consist of pharmaceutical medicines, industrial raw materials, cotton fabrics, automobile parts, and machinery.
