General Abdul Rashid Dostum, who leads the party called Junbish, is currently in exile abroad, fearing the atrocities he committed in the country. His political meetings and gatherings are often filled with propaganda slogans and threats. Dostum is that general whose high military ranks and wealth were obtained through atrocities, treachery, and the killing of the people.

During his speech on Eid, he warned the leaders of the caretaker government that the great crime of the Laili Desert would be repeated, stating that all the ways leading from the north are under the control of the opponents of the caretaker government. He made this statement at a time when there are no activities of opposing armed groups and political factions throughout the country, they do not have control over a single district, nor do they have enough influence among the people to create any resistance.

In response to the warning about the heinous and unforgivable crime in the Leili Desert, several former officials, politicians, and activists of the fallen republic have reacted. They called the Leili Desert incident a crime and demanded a trial. Some have reproached Dostum, addressing him as a fugitive marshal, while these activists have also labeled Dostum a murderer. On the other hand, ethnic extremists supporting Dostum have praised his warning, given it an ethnic color, and made various harsh comments about it.

Dostum, who was given the imaginary title of Marshal during the fallen republic, has appeared in different faces at different times. When Dostum entered the political arena from being an ordinary worker, he first became a communist, danced to the tune of the Russians, and when the Soviet Union collapsed in Afghanistan and Dr. Najibullah’s regime fell. He allied with the Northern Alliance and fought against the Islamic Party. That savage general first supported Dr. Najib and had chosen him as the secretary of Jowzjan. Later, during Najib’s escape, this general turned his family away from the airport.

In the year 1380 (2001), the great crime of the Laili Desert is recorded under the name of this ruthless general. During this crime, he captured around three thousand prisoners of war and some ordinary Pashtuns, buried them alive in the ground, and covered them with soil using bulldozers. During the internal wars and the twenty-year period of the republic, this illiterate general committed many more atrocities. He was involved in thousands of murders, extortion, thefts, looting, sexual assaults, and other war crimes. He also has a notorious background in drug use and addiction, and his militias are infamous for murder, theft, looting, sexual assaults, and other heinous acts.

Dostum committed the Laili Desert massacre to please the CIA and those foreign masters with whom he had close ties after the collapse of the Soviet bloc. Today, as a system of the faithful and Mujahid people has been established in the country in exchange for their sacrifices, Dostum is positioning himself against it, while he currently has no influence among the people except for a few paid activists on social media. The people of the North and South are fed up with him and view him as a criminal. Dostum should no longer play with the emotions of the Afghan people, should not rub salt in their wounds, and should live abroad like an ordinary citizen; it is neither the year 1380, nor is the people the same sleeping people, nor are his masters standing by him, nor are there any forces with him.
