Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, Mawlawi Hedayatullah Badri, leading a delegation, departed for Iran today, Monday, May 19, on an official visit.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum, Mr. Badri is scheduled to participate in the second International Conference of Mining Experts and Researchers being held in Iran.

In addition to attending the conference, he will hold meetings with representatives from various companies and investors.

The Afghan delegation is expected to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation, Afghanistan’s mineral resources, and investment opportunities in the mining sector during these meetings.
