Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister, Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, spoke by phone with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on regional issues, with particular focus on the recent situation between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
According to the Ministry, Mr. Muttaqi expressed the Islamic Emirate’s principled stance regarding recent developments and stated that the recent actions of Afghanistan’s security and defense forces were carried out to protect the country’s sovereignty, airspace, and territorial integrity, and that the designated objectives have been successfully achieved.
