Iranian Embassy in Kabul announced that more than 200 traders, industrialists, and investors from Afghanistan and Iran participated in an economic forum hosted by the embassy.
According to the embassy, participants discussed ways to expand bilateral economic and trade cooperation and exchanged views on strengthening commercial relations between the two countries.
The embassy noted that Afghan and Iranian business representatives held discussions on cooperation in the construction, pharmaceutical, laboratory equipment, food processing, and battery manufacturing industries, as well as in technical and engineering services.
The forum was held to strengthen cooperation between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Iran. It concluded with the signing of three agreements between companies from the two countries, aimed at expanding bilateral trade and investment.
