A young, inexperienced and naive individual who has neither seen war nor the trenches and only claims leadership by wearing his father’s hat and wielding his blood-stained weapon. Ahmad Massoud, someone who is trying to sacrifice thousands of the youth of his homeland under the banner of the Resistance Front for the sake of his father and the ideals of the West.
He claims to be a patriot, but his actions contradict that. From the very beginning of the fall of the republic, he should have stood by the caretaker government and put all his efforts into the prosperity of the homeland. However, following in his father’s footsteps, he chose the path of opposition, formed a front and called on people to resist and go to the mountains and the countryside.
In these three years since the establishment of the caretaker government in Afghanistan, Ahmad Massoud has made great efforts to overthrow it, although his efforts were meaningless and sometimes ridiculous, given his lack of experience.
He fled to Tajikistan, opened an office there and from there tried to convince the world of the legitimacy of his resistance. He received promises of cooperation from France, England and even the United States. England provided him with a one million dollar project for cooperation and he attracted a lot of foreign aid.
But now, after three years of tireless and fruitless efforts, he has become disheartened and feels abandoned. It seems he has lost hope in the whole world and the hopes he had tied to the frayed ropes of America and the West have turned into despair.
The U.S. did not issue a visa for Ahmad Massoud to enter, canceled the cooperation budget with him and even revoked the cooperation budget with his virtual collaborators and lobbying networks, such as Afghanistan International and Amu TV. Trump remained silent in response to a question from an Afghan journalist about Afghanistan and avoided answering.
All these events have discouraged Ahmad Massoud from continuing his resistance. Now he is like a creature stuck in a swamp, sinking deeper with every move. He has unintentionally shared this state of despair with the public and has alluded to it by reciting a poem by Maulana.
Saven days ago, on February 6, 2025, Ahmad Massoud shared a poem by Maulana on his X page, which says:
«این جفای خلق با تو در جهان گر بدانی گنج زر باشد نهان خلق را با تو از آن بدخو کند تا تو را ناچار رو آن سو کند»
He wrote: “For a long time, I wanted to share this heartfelt message with our dear people: our hope should not be in the East or West, or near or far, but our eyes and hope should first be in Allah and then in ourselves.”
Massoud, citing a poem, sees the people of the world as unkind and harsh towards him and his feeble resistance, which causes him pain and despair. To prevent his companions from being influenced by this global indifference towards him and his resistance, he advises them: “With trust in Allah and mutual empathy and solidarity, we can overcome any hardship and darkness.”
Yes, Ahmad Massoud is now in hardship and darkness. It is laughable that he wants to continue his struggle relying on the God whose command he has defied, turned his back on Muslims and faced the enemy. He has severed the rope of God’s unity and is killing His servants!
Ahmad Massoud and his group are left with nothing but the propaganda of the virtual world; they have no hope or expectation left. This is the destined fate of every traitor and country-seller: one day their hands will be empty of everything and at that time, they will have neither the hope of returning to their country nor the support of the masters for whom they have fought for years for their goals and ideals.
