Reuters, citing a senior U.S. official, reported that a ceasefire agreement has been reached between the Zionist regime and Hezbollah.
The source added that the ceasefire is scheduled to take effect at 4:00 p.m. local time today, Friday.
According to the U.S. official, pressure from Iran, along with joint efforts by the United States and Qatar, played a role in finalizing the agreement.
The official said that after today’s heavy fighting came to an end, both sides effectively entered a ceasefire.
Hezbollah has not commented on the development, but an Israeli source confirmed the report.
