Afghanistan’s Supreme Court reported that Chief Justice Sheikh Abdul Hakim Haqqani met with officials representing the ten zones of Kabul’s Primary Court, where he stressed the importance of delivering justice with sincerity, integrity, and professionalism. He also instructed judges to safeguard the rights of the oppressed and treat all litigants with fairness and respect.
Addressing the judges, Sheikh Haqqani said the judiciary’s foremost duty is to enforce the commands of Allah, prevent oppression, and uphold the rights of the oppressed.
He urged judges to perform their duties with sincerity, integrity, and honesty, and to treat everyone appearing before the courts with respect and fairness.
