Reuters reported that Iranian officials warned Tehran would target undersea communication cables in the Gulf if negotiations between Iran and the United States fail and Washington launches another military strike against Iran.
According to Reuters, the officials also warned that Iran would block efforts to repair damaged cables, aiming to prolong disruptions to internet and telecommunications services across the region.
Iran had previously threatened to target artificial intelligence centers and related facilities in Gulf countries.
