China’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Zhao Sheng, discussed Afghanistan-China relations and ways to further expand cooperation between the two countries during a farewell meeting with Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Mawlawi Muttaqi described Afghanistan-China relations as historical and positive and praised Zhao Sheng’s work during his tenure. He also wished the ambassador success in his future assignment.
Zhao Sheng described the relations between the two countries as friendly and thanked the Foreign Ministry for its cooperation during his tenure. He expressed hope that Afghanistan-China ties would expand further across various areas.
