Deputy Minister for Financial and Administrative Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Naeem, met with Chinese Ambassador to Kabul, Zhao Xing.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on the recent incident at the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border and strengthening relations between Afghanistan and China.
Mr. Naeem expressed sorrow over the recent incident near the Tajikistan border, in which Chinese nationals were killed, and stated that investigations are underway.
He described the attack as the work of groups seeking to create distrust between countries.
Meanwhile, the Chinese Ambassador in Kabul appreciated the Afghan government’s serious actions regarding the incident and stated that the perpetrators of the attack are attempting to undermine the relationship between China and Afghanistan.
