The High Commission for Refugee Affairs reported that 488 Afghan families, totaling 2,672 individuals, returned to the country from neighbouring countries on Saturday.

According to the report, the majority of returnees, 459 families comprising 2,473 individuals, entered the country through the Torkham crossing in Nangarhar province.

The commission further stated that 3,156 returnees were relocated to their respective areas on the same day, while 602 families also received assistance.
