Afghanistan Electricity Company, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) said in a statement that it has signed a cooperation agreement with Pamir Energy in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, to supply electricity to Badakhshan’s border districts.
Under the agreement, the two sides will work to provide electricity services to residents of the province’s border districts.
The two sides also discussed plans to extend a 110 kV power transmission line to Faizabad, the capital of Badakhshan, on the sidelines of the signing ceremony. Pamir Energy said it will share its proposals with DABS after completing the necessary technical assessments.
