Arab media reports state that Egypt’s criminal court has sentenced five individuals to life imprisonment and ordered their inclusion on the national terrorist list.
According to the report, the individuals were accused of forming a terrorist group similar to ISIS.
Egypt’s Ministry of Interior stated that it has dismantled more than 50 terrorist groups since 2018, adding that this case is part of its broader counterterrorism efforts.
