In a regular meeting of the Economic Commission, chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, an electronic system for managing official correspondence and administrative documents of government authorities was approved. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has been instructed to implement the system in a phased manner.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office stated that the implementation of this system will strengthen coordination among government authorities and enhance transparency, efficiency, and security. It is also expected to reduce forgery, curb corruption, and prevent the waste of time.

According to the source, the system will also strengthen accurate data management and accountability, marking a significant step toward e-governance.

The office further added, without providing further details, that the system also includes significant facilitation measures for service recipients.
