Tasnim News Agency reported that a delegation from the Hamas movement, during talks in Cairo with mediators and guarantors of the Gaza ceasefire, has conditionally agreed to the roadmap for the second phase of the Gaza peace plan.
Hamas said the agreement was reached with the aim of protecting the interests of the Palestinian people and achieving a permanent ceasefire, but emphasized several key conditions for its implementation.
According to Hamas’s conditions, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the immediate and sustained provision of humanitarian aid, the commencement of the administrative committee’s activities in Gaza, and the launch of the reconstruction process are among the key demands of the agreement.
Hamas stressed that the implementation of these conditions is essential for a permanent ceasefire and the establishment of peace in Gaza.
