A ceremony was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul to inaugurate several charitable projects by the Azizi Foundation, attended by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund.
The projects include a 400-bed cancer hospital, a 200-bed maternity hospital, a school, a nursing institute, a medical university, an orphanage, and a 200-megawatt power generation project.
Several government officials, including the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office and multiple ministers, were also in attendance.
Additionally, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund visited Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital, where he inaugurated new facilities, including a 100-bed ward, a hospital designated for civilian patients, and a special NKC camp.
The event was also attended by the Minister of National Defense, Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, and the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Qari Fasihuddin Fitrat.
