The Herat Provincial Media Office has announced that the interim government of Afghanistan is providing significant free services to Afghan refugees who have been forcibly expelled from Iran.
According to the official statement, these services include a cash payment of 2,000 Afghanis for each family member, daily distribution of lunch and dinner, SIM cards to help individuals stay in touch with their families, free transportation from the Islam Qala border to their respective provinces, free medical and healthcare services, and the allocation of land to eligible families.
Officials from the interim government described these around-the-clock services as part of their core responsibilities and reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding support for Afghan refugees in the future.
