Ali Abdollahi, commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that if U.S. forces attempt to enter or approach the Strait of Hormuz, they will be met with a military attack.

He added that the security of the Strait of Hormuz is fully under the control of Iran’s armed forces, and the movement of ships can only take place in coordination with them.

He also called on international shipping companies to refrain from any transit through the Strait of Hormuz without prior coordination.

These remarks come as the U.S. president recently stated that American forces will begin operations next Monday to free ships stranded in the Strait of Hormuz.
