Iran’s Fars News Agency reports that the Iraqi Islamic Resistance has announced a $10 million reward for the assassination of US President Donald Trump.
According to the report, the group said the money was collected through donations from its supporters. The statement also condemned Trump’s recent remarks regarding the killings of Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
The group further stated that the deaths of Soleimani and al-Muhandis would not go unanswered and held Trump responsible for the 2020 strike.
Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Quds Force, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy head of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), were killed in a US drone strike near Baghdad International Airport in January 2020.
