During his visit to Russia, the Deputy Minister for Food and Drugs at the Ministry of Public Health, Mawlawi Ahmadullah Zahir, held meetings with officials from Russian health, pharmaceutical, and commercial institutions.
According to Ministry of Public Health spokesperson Dr. Sharafat Zaman, the discussions focused on drug regulation and evaluation, the adoption of advanced standards, and the exchange of professional expertise between the two sides.
He added that the Afghan delegation also held talks with representatives of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and business figures in the food and pharmaceutical sectors, focusing on expanding commercial cooperation and attracting investment.
According to available information, the delegation also visited ANTIKA Hospital, where they held discussions with hospital officials on expanding healthcare cooperation and improving treatment facilities for patients with heart disease and cancer.
