Officials from the Directorate of Building Permits and Analysis at Kabul Municipality have reported that a total of 2,200 construction permits were issued during the 1404 solar hijri year, covering residential, commercial, and other categories of buildings.
Officials further stated that the processing time for obtaining permits has been reduced from 45–65 days to 15–20 working days. They added that this improvement has contributed to a rise in investment and construction activity throughout Kabul city.
