Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock announced that Kandahar province exported 182,381 tons of fresh and dried fruit to countries around the world over the past year, with the total value of exports reaching $428.863 million.
Known for their distinctive flavor and high quality, Afghan fruits have steadily increased in export volume in recent years and have become one of the country’s key sources of revenue.
