Kandahar Municipality says it issued construction permits to 725 applicants for residential and commercial buildings through its Construction Permit Center over the past six months.
The municipality said the center is designed to facilitate legal, transparent and standardized construction, streamline the building permit process, and ensure compliance with urban planning regulations.
It added that construction permits are issued only after applications have been reviewed for compliance with relevant regulations and construction standards.
