TASNIM news agency reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin held nearly three hours of talks in Moscow with U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
The Kremlin confirmed that the meeting had ended but has not yet released details about the content or outcome of the talks.
Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, described the talks between Putin, Witkoff and Kushner as “very constructive and frank.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov also said Putin had ordered a three-day halt to strikes on Kyiv during the U.S. delegation’s visit.
